Beautiful and VERY Unique Quartz Crystal Point from Montgomery County, Arkansas. Great clarity and most interestingly it features a rare form of growth interferences on one side of the prism body. It looks as if a saw has cut into the quartz, but it is where a softer mineral (ie calcite) once sat attached, but later dissolved due to changing hydrothermal conditions while still forming underground. Highly aesthetic and collectible formation here. It is mounted on a natural slice of sweetgum wood from Arkansas, handstamped with our logo on the bottom.
Specimen Size Approx. 3 x 1.3 x 1 cm
natural wood mount is approx. 3 cm diameter
