Beautiful and unique Arkansas Quartz Crystal Point with super unique and deeply etched growth interferences. It sort of resembles a sawmark, caused by other secondary minerals once attached that dissolved while still underground, likely due to changes in acidity/temperature and/or other geologic variables over time. The mineral once attached was likely Calcite. Very unique crystal point, with special aesthetics/form. From our personal collection.
Specimen Size: Approx. 3.3 x 1.5 x 1.2 cm
The specimen comes mounted with ticky tacky on a naturally uv-reactive pine knot wood base that also illuminates nicely when light shines through it. The wood itself is naturally infused with the resin of the tree it came from, so it smells wonderful too, like the Arkansas forests from where it was unearthed.
