Unique Quartz Crystal Cluster, Old Stock, Montgomery County, Arkansas, w/ wood base.
Beautifully formed quartz crystal cluster from Montgomery County, Arkansas, with nice aesthetics. It wants to be a japan law so badly...the locale/prospect it came from has produced small japan law crystals in adjacent seams, and interestingly, there were many specimens found near that formed rough and non-twinned angles sort of similar to the japan law twins at first glance, but closer to 120 degree and non-twinned angles upon closer examination....it had something to do with the seam formation and shared geologic environments. Pretty cool little specimen. It comes mounted with ticky tacky on a naturally uv-reactive pine knot wood base that also illuminates nicely when light shines through it. The wood itself is naturally infused with the resin of the tree it came from, so it smells wonderful too, like the Arkansas forests from where it was unearthed.
Arkansas magic, from the Ouachita Mountain Range.
Specimen Size Approx. 2.5 x 1.9 x 1.8 cm
