Water-clear Etched Quartz Crystal Point, Old Stock, Montgoemry County, Arkansas, ooak w/ natural wood base

Old stock Quartz Crystal point w/ beautiful form and excellent clarity. Features interesting growth interference etchings on the bottom portion of the prism body, where another mineral was once attached before it dissolved eons ago while still in its underground geologic environment (the old mineral once attached was likely Calcite, which probably dissolved over time due to changes in acidity, etc). An interesting specimen. The point comes mounted with ticky tacky on a naturally uv-reactive pine knot wood base that also illuminates nicely when light shines through it. The wood itself is naturally infused with the resin of the tree it came from, so it smells wonderful too, like the Arkansas forests from where it was unearthed.
