Super Rare Opal-AN, Strengite, Cacoxenite, Coon Creek Mine, Polk Co. Arkansas.

Super Rare and Amazing combination of highly fluorescent Opal-AN with various iron phosphate species on Novaculite matrix. There is some Purple Strengite and Cacoxenite adjacent to the Opal-AN on one side of the piece, and various micro vugs of small cacoxenite, goethite, etc. The Opal-AN is beautifully UV Reactive under longwave 365nm light (possibly under medium and shortwave as well but would need to be tested). Very rare specimen with such a large amount of Opal-AN, especially paired with the strengite and cacoxenite (both rare and sought after species). There were only two specimens with the Opal-AN out of hundreds of iron phosphate combos from the collection we received. One was quite small, this was the largest and beautifully abundant with the Opal-AN, with beautiful "striped" aesthetic form. There is also very minor natural iridescence on some of the goethite....very faint, but it is present. It was unearthed in the 1970s by the legendary Henry Delinde, and is from his personal collection. See photos and video for details.VERY rare material.
