SUPER RARE GREEN KIDWELLITE, WHITE STRENGITE , BERAUNITE COMBO with possible HYALITE OPAL -YORK MINE, POLK CO, ARKANSAS.
Super Rare and Very Unique Iron Phosphate Combo on a Novaculite Matrix. The Minerals found on this piece include a beautiful field of Green Kidwellite with White Strengite and possibly Halloysite Opal, and the interior layers include the minerals RockBridgeite, Beraunite, Cacoxenite etc.
A Stunning example of Kidwellite paired with most of the other iron phosphates etc found at this locale.
This piece was mined in the 1970s in the Caney Creek Wilderness in Polk County, Arkansas, USA by a team of scientists and collectors including Al Kidwell, Meredith York, Henry Delinde, and others.
