Amazing Solution Quartz + Ankerite set, w/ wood mount + photo case- Jeffrey Quarry, Arkansas
An amazing set of old stock specimens of solution quartz and ankerite from the long-closed Jeffrey Quarry in North Little Rock, Arkansas. The set includes a cluster of fine Solution Quartz crystals, an Ankerite cluster w/ Solution Quartz, and a uniquely shaped floater of Solution Quartz (resembling a bird of sorts). There are trace amounts of uv-reactive micro-Cookeite present as well.
Specimen size range: these range in size from approx. 1.5 - 1.8 cm each at their longest sides.
It is mounted in our new boxes we designed and made utilizing a naturally UV reactive Pine knot wood that comes from our land in Arkansas. The back is a photographic print of one of our photos of a sunset over the Ouachita mountain range in Arkansas. These are unique and exclusive to our shop.
The wood mount smells absolutely fantastic too.
*The clear plastic case can be removed as needed. The specimens are mounted with ticky tacky only, so they can be removed if needed as well.
The case measure approx. 2.25 x 1.5 x 1.5 inches
