Rare example of old stock Rectorite, a unique leathery clay mineral known by old timers as Mountain Leather....this is what much of the Jeffrey Quarry Solution Quartz was hosted in.. Mined in the 1980s at the Jeffrey Quarry (a long closed locale) in Pulaski County, North Little Rock, Arkansas, USA.

An interesting example "specimen" of Rectorite, and it also hosts some micro solution quartz crystals within it.
