Kidwellite specimen, 1970s exploration, Polk County, Arkansas, A+, w/ handmade wood mount/photo box

Amazing specimen of old stock Kidwellite, from the 1970s exploration of the Polk County wilderness/iron phosphate deposits of Arkansas. From Henry Delinde's findings during his explores with the CCA (coon creek association).

The specimen is a matrix-less "floater" of multi-generational Kidwellite w/ excellent form and aesthetics, and in great condition.

Spectacular and rare old stock from an Arkansas mining legend.

ex Henry Delinde

Specimen size approx: 3.5 x 2.5 x 1.3 cm

It is mounted in our new boxes we designed and made utilizing a naturally UV reactive Pine knot wood that comes from our land in Arkansas. The back is a photographic print of one of our photos of the Ouachita Forest of Polk County in Arkansas (near where these iron phosphates are found). These are unique and exclusive to our shop.

The wood mount smells absolutely fantastic too.

*The clear plastic case can be removed as needed. The specimens are mounted with ticky tacky only, so they can be removed if needed as well.

The case measure approx. 2.25 x 1.5 x 1.5 inches
