One of the rarest forms of Quartz. This tabular specimen features a rare "c face" pinacoid form, with a flat etched "top" (where the typical terminating end point would be). This flat top has a frosty appearance consisting of dissolution pits. Extremely rare form, and it is the only one we have seen publicly available from Arkansas. From the Varnedore collection.
It comes mounted on a naturally uv-reactive pine knot wood base w/ ticky tacky only. The wood itself is naturally infused with the resin of the tree it came from, so it smells wonderful too, like the Arkansas forests from where it was unearthed.
