from Mauldin Mountain, Montgomery county, Arkansas, USA.
(Montgomery County quarry / Mauldin Mountain quarry)A phenomenal collectors specimen with beautifully crystallized botryoidal formations on a chert matrix. The wavellite is very unique as it is iron-included, giving it a brownish orange hue. The crystallization on this piece is amazing!
