Blue/Green Cookeite w/ golden micro rutile needles on and in Solution Quartz, Saline County, Arkansas, Rare, UV Reactive.
Very Rare combo of UV Reactive Bluish Cookeite w/ micro golden Rutile needles (on the Backside of the piece, when examined under a microscope) on and in Solution Quartz, w/ greenish cookeite on the backside of the specimen. Nice aesthetic cluster of Cookeite aesthetically perched on the "main" side of the specimen on a field of micro solution quartz crystals. This Cookeite is a very interesting hue of almost Caribbean Blue, with some hints of Blue Green when looked at under a microscope. The backside of the specimen hosts micro golden Rutile needles included in some of the solution quartz crystals (under microscopic examination), and smaller Cookeite balls that are green/light green in hue. All of the cookeite shows fluorescence under longwave 365nm uv light. VERY Rare combo from this region of the Ouachita Mountains. The largest formation of cookeite is approx 0.5 cm in width.
Entire specimen Size: Approx. 6 x 3 x 2.5 cm
