Adularia, Old Stock - Great Crystallization - Garland County, Arkansas, w/ base
A beautiful Adularia cluster, with excellent crystallization, from thre Ouachita Mountains of Garland County, Arkansas, USA. This is a great example of Arkansas Adularia w/ "hard" crystallization, not the typical soft/chalky Adularia. Really cool old stock specimen. Nice aesthetics.
The specimen comes mounted with ticky tacky on a naturally uv-reactive pine knot wood base that also illuminates nicely when light shines through it. The wood itself is naturally infused with the resin of the tree it came from, so it smells wonderful too, like the Arkansas forests from where it was unearthed.
