Adularia + etched Quartz Crystal Point, Garland County, Arkansas, w/ wood base.
Old stock Quartz Crystal point w/ excellent clarity and unique form. It hosts etchings/growth voids where adularia formed a "phantom of sorts on and within the main prism body, but later mostly dissolved out while still underground. There remains some minor amounts of Adularia still, and interesting aesthetics from bottom to top on the backside of the crystal. The point comes mounted with ticky tacky on a naturally uv-reactive pine knot wood base that also illuminates nicely when light shines through it. The wood itself is naturally infused with the resin of the tree it came from, so it smells wonderful too, like the Arkansas forests from where it was unearthed.
Arkansas magic, from the Ouachita Mountain Range.
Specimen Size Approx. 3.5 x 0.9 x 0.7 cm
