Museum Grade Wavellite specimen from Mauldin Mountain, Montgomery County, Arkansas.
Absolutely phenomenal green Wavellite w/ excellent crystallization, great aesthetics and overall amazing quality. From our personal collection of "best of Arkansas Minerals". It has a small custom hand carved and polished prop mount attached to the base (made of the same type of wood as the base) so that it can display in the most fantastic way possible.
specimen size: Approx. 2.5 x 2 x 1.5 cm
It is mounted in our new boxes we designed and made utilizing a naturally UV reactive Pine knot wood that comes from our land in Arkansas. The back is a photographic print of one of our photos showing an example of the inside of a "vug" of Wavellite from Arkansas (like a crystal cave of sorts). These are unique and exclusive to our shop.
The wood mount smells absolutely fantastic too.
*The clear plastic case can be removed as needed. The specimens are mounted with ticky tacky only, so they can be removed if needed as well.
The case measure approx. 2.25 x 1.5 x 1.5 inches
