A phenomenal Wavellite specimen from Mauldin Mountain, Montgomery County Quarry, Arkansas, USA.

Highly UV Reactive/fluorescent under longwave 365nm uv light. The specimen features excellent form and nice "eye forms"/great aesthetics and unique color. It is one of the best small specimens from this unique seam of wavellite. From our personal collection of "best of unique wavellite from Arkansas". 

Specimen size: approx. 4 x 3 x 2.7 cm

It is mounted in our new boxes we designed and made utilizing a naturally UV reactive Pine knot wood that comes from our land in Arkansas. The back is a transparent photographic print of one of our photos of the Ouachita Forest in Arkansas. These are unique and exclusive to our shop.

 The wood mount smells absolutely fantastic too.


*The clear plastic case can be removed as needed. The specimens are mounted with ticky tacky only, so they can be removed if needed as well. 

The case measure approx. 2.25 x 1.5 x 1.5 inches
