Strengite + Kidwellite on Beraunite , w/ wood mount + photo case - Polk County, Arkansas.
Beautiful purple Strengite covering green Kidwellite on reddish Beraunite. Amazing old stock, from Three Oaks Gap, in Polk County, Arkansas. Excellent aesthetics, great color and crystallization. Great collectors piece showing this beautiful combination of rare minerals. Kidwellite was first discovered in Arkansas in the 1970s by Al Kidwell who was a member of the Coon Creek Association, and this piece was from those famous 1970s collecting trips, unearthed by another member, Henry Delinde. Super cool specimen, from our personal collection of "best of Arkansas Minerals".
