Fantastic specimen of Brookite (TiO2) on a highly altered and recrystallized Smoky Quartz Crystal cluster. A beautiful and large/prominent crystal of Brookite is the centerpiece. This main crystal is of a length approaching 0.9-1cm and has a width of approx 0.6 cm . There are other smaller brookite crystals as well, some with complex growth and small amounts of natural iridescence. Old Stock from the Magnet Cove area of Hot Spring County, Arkansas, USA. Specimen size: Approx. 2.2 x 2 x 1.6 cm


It is mounted in our new boxes we designed and made utilizing a naturally UV reactive Pine knot wood that comes from our land in Arkansas. The back is a transparent photographic print of one of our photos of Highway 51 (specifically the famous cove creek bridge) that runs through the central portions of Magnet Cove, Arkansas (ie the Magnet Cove Igneous Complex). These are unique and exclusive to our shop.

 The wood mount smells absolutely fantastic too.


*The clear plastic case can be removed as needed. The specimens are mounted with ticky tacky only, so they can be removed if needed as well. 

The case measure approx. 2.25 x 1.5 x 1.5 inches
