A+ Brookite on Smoky Quartz, w/ wood mount + photo case - Magnet Cove, Arkansas
Fantastic specimen of Brookite (TiO2) on a highly altered and recrystallized Smoky Quartz Crystal cluster. Much of the Brookite shows complex growth. Old Stock from the Magnet Cove area of Hot Spring County, Arkansas, USA. Great aesthetics, and the specimen is covered in Brookite crystals (see video showing the pieces luster). Specimen size: Approx. 3 x 2 x 1.9 cm
It is mounted in our new boxes we designed and made utilizing a naturally UV reactive Pine knot wood that comes from our land in Arkansas. The back is a transparent photographic print of one of our photos of Highway 51 (specifically the famous cove creek bridge) that runs through the central portions of Magnet Cove, Arkansas (ie the Magnet Cove Igneous Complex). These are unique and exclusive to our shop.
The wood mount smells absolutely fantastic too.
*The clear plastic case can be removed as needed. The specimens are mounted with ticky tacky only, so they can be removed if needed as well.
The case measure approx. 2.25 x 1.5 x 1.5 inches
